I was born in Lviv, Ukraine. In 2012, I received a B.Sc. degree with honours in Computer Engineering from "Sapienza" – University of Rome, Italy. In 2015, I received a M.Sc. degree with honours in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from the same university. In 2020, I received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Between 2018 and 2020, I was a visiting scholar at the Dynamic Systems Lab in University of Toronto, AiR Lab in Aarhus University and AIR Lab in Singapore University of Technology and Design. Currently, I am a Senior Scientist at Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence in Technical University of Munich where I lead the research at Flying Systems Arena and Underwater Systems Lab.

My research primarily focuses on unmanned aerial vehicles, fuzzy logic and deep learning.

In the last years, I worked on a number of industrial and academic projects related to the control of unmanned aerial vehicles. During my Ph.D. period, I was a recipient of the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) and multiple travel grants for international conferences. I am a reviewer in prestigious international journals and conferences. I am a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
